Background

1988 - Founded in Brasília – DF, as developer of products for tape library management under z/OS, GFS Software launches GFS/AFM, the leading product in the Brazilian market.

1994 - GFS Software releases the GFS/Stack and transfers operations to São Paulo - SP, with a complete and dedicated infrastructure for system development and customer support.

2002 - GFS Software starts operations abroad, by means of distributors in Europe and creation of a branch office in Madrid – Spain. In addition, GFS acquires the GFS/SOM solution.

2003 - GFS Software launches the GFS/TQS, a unique solution able to provide certification and quality control for tapes under z/OS environment.

2007 - GFS Software releases the GFS/iTQS, a web-based solution of the GFS/TQS, for z/OS tape library management via a browser.

2008 - GFS Software celebrates its 20th anniversary and awarded for eight consecutive years (2001 to 2008) with the "Eminence of the Year" award from the Informática Hoje Yearbook.

2009 - GFS Software establishes a partnership with Pristine Software Inc., focusing on the SYSchange solution.
