PTFs for GFS Products                 

The PTFs of GFS products can be downloaded from our Website at:

FTP Site:  ftp://ftp.gfs.com.br/Download/PTF/English

See below the procedures for PTFs applications: AF25Bxx, SK15Bxx, TQ13Axx, TO15Cxx or GP15Cxx.

1. Transfer the file to the respective product installation library "xxxINST". This transfer must be in binary mode.

2. Use the following JCL example to receive the correction,  fitting the adjustments according to your environment:

//RECEIVE   EXEC GFSSMPE

//SMPPTFIN  DD   DSN=HLQ.xxxINST(AF25Bxx),DISP=SHR

//SMPCNTL   DD   * 

 SET BDY(GLOBAL) .

     RECEIVE SYSMODS 

             SELECT(AF25Bxx) LIST .

3. Apply the correction:

//APPPTFS  EXEC GFSSMPE                                             

//SMPCNTL  DD  *                                                     

 SET BDY(GFSTGT) .                                                  

     APPLY SELECT(AF25Bxx) RETRY(YES) .  /* BYPASS(HOLDSYS(holdreason)) . */

4. Follow the activation instruction of the PTF and HOLDSYS.
